Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development : Design and build robust ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory for large-scale data processing.
- Data Transformation : Develop pipelines for data transformation and computation of analytical metrics using SQL, Scala, or Python within Azure big data technologies like Azure Databricks/Synapse.
- Data Modeling : Apply solid data modeling principles to build efficient facts and dimensions, ensuring a scalable and maintainable data architecture.
- SQL Expertise : Write optimized and reusable SQL queries, ensuring performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting to meet project requirements.
- Data Visualization : Develop intuitive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI to communicate insights effectively.
- DevOps Integration : Collaborate on code check-ins and build release pipelines, ensuring seamless CI/CD processes for project delivery.
- Privacy and Security : Adhere to organizational standards for privacy, security, and coding practices, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Educational Background : BE/B.Tech/MS/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise : Minimum of 4+ years of experience in building ingestion and compute pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure big data technologies like Databricks or Synapse.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with data modeling, including building facts and dimensions for enterprise-scale data warehouses.
- At least 1+ year of experience in creating data visualizations and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
- Hands-on knowledge of scripting languages such as Scala or Python for data transformations.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Proven ability to handle complex business requirements and translate them into technical implementations.
- Knowledge of best practices in big data environments, including cost optimization, scalability, and maintainability.
- Adaptability : Quickly assimilate new tools, techniques, and concepts.
- Problem Solving : Display strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in ambiguous situations.
- Communication : Exhibit confidence and clarity while working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration : Foster a collaborative work environment with a focus on accountability and shared success
