Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented PHP & WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in WordPress development along with experience in maintaining and working on PHP projects. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, and PHP-based web applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Build responsive, SEO-friendly WordPress websites.
• Troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues, including theme and plugin conflicts.
• Maintain and enhance PHP-based projects, including websites, web applications and APIs.
• Have a strong understanding of MySQL database design, queries, and optimization techniques.
• Work on database migrations and indexing for better scalability.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers for seamless integration.
• Work on website maintenance, bug fixes, and feature enhancements.
• Ensure website performance, speed and security with best coding practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Expertise in WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, hooks, filters).
• Experience with PHP frameworks like Slim PHP, CodeIgniter, or other MVC frameworks.
• Proficiency in working with REST APIs and AJAX.
• Experience in website performance optimization, including techniques like lazy loading, database indexing, CDN integration, server-side caching, and code minification.
• Experience with version control systems like Git/GitHub.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to manage and maintain multiple projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Good to Have

• Experience with Laravel
• Advanced knowledge of website security best practices (protection against SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.).
• Understanding of server management and cloud hosting platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, cPanel).
• Experience in website security and performance optimization
