Overview

Job Title: WordPress & PHP Developer (1-2 Years Experience)

Department: Development

Reports to: Development Lead

Interview Mode: Face to Face

Experience: 1 to 2 years

Key Responsibilities:

● WordPress Development:

○ Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.

○ Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.

○ Integrate WordPress with third-party services and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, marketing platforms).

○ Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues.

○ Ensure website performance, security, and SEO best practices.

● PHP Development:

○ Develop and maintain custom PHP applications and scripts.

○ Work with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter) (Optional, depending on company needs).

○ Integrate PHP with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

○ Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

● Front-End Development:

○ Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly website interfaces.

○ Work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create visually appealing and interactive websites.

○ Utilize front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, React, Angular) (Optional, depending on company needs).

● Project Management:

○ Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

○ Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver projects on time and within budget.

○ Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Qualifications:

● Graduation or Equivalent in Software Development

● 1-2 years of professional experience in WordPress and PHP development.

● Strong understanding of WordPress core files, themes, and plugins.

● Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

● Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) is a plus.

● Experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Zend, Laravel, CodeIgniter) is a plus.

● Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub).

● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

● Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
