WordPress/PHP Developer

Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced PHP WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development and extensive experience working with WordPress to create custom themes, plugins, and functionality.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement website designs and optimize user experience.

Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.

Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress sites and applications, ensuring smooth functionality across various browsers and devices.

Integrate third-party APIs and web services to enhance website functionality and data exchange.

Stay updated with the latest WordPress and PHP trends, technologies, and best practices.

Assist in the migration of existing websites to WordPress, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.

Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Proficiency in PHP programming and WordPress development.

Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Experience with MySQL or other databases, Git, and RESTful APIs.

Proven work experience in PHP and WordPress development.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
