WordPress and PHP Developer

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced WordPress and PHP Developer with expertise in developing,
customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and web applications. The ideal candidate
should have strong proficiency in PHP, WordPress CMS, theme and plugin development, MySQL, and
front-end technologies. The role involves working on high-performance, scalable, and secure web
solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development of custom plugins, themes and other backend development in
  WordPress websites.
• Must have knowledge in PHP (Core and OOPs), CSS3, Javascript, JQuery.
• Responsible for building re-usable plugins, modules, and themes.
• Develop and deploy functional websites from scratch.
• Build responsive and user-friendly websites that meet project requirements.
• Should be familiar with APIs, and JSON, XML formats.
• Must have Knowledge of existing WordPress functions, hooks.
• Good knowledge of GIT for project deploys.

Qualifications:

• Masters or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress and PHP development.
• Expertise in PHP, WordPress architecture, themes, and plugin development.
• Knowledge of advanced WordPress concepts such as Multisite and WP CLI.
• Familiarity with modern development tools like Webpack, npm, and Sass.
• Certifications or advanced training in WordPress or PHP development.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficient in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery Expert.
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Cake, CodeIgniter, Fuel, Laravel, etc.).
• Experience with PHP CMS (WordPress, Drupal, etc.) with customize themes and customize
  plugin.
• Excellent relational database skills with MySQL.
• Experience with building restful JSON web services.
• Understanding responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap.
• Knowledge of API’s, such as twitter, Facebook, Google maps, Instagram, etc.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
