Windchill Test Engineer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Windchill Manual Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of Windchill PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual testing, test case creation, execution, and defect reporting specifically for PTC Windchill.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand Windchill PLM system requirements and functionalities.
• Develop test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Windchill applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, ALM, or other defect-tracking tools.
• Validate data integrity, workflows, and access control in Windchill.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
• Ensure compliance with PLM best practices and quality assurance processes.
• Provide testing reports and documentation as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing with at least 1+ years in Windchill PLM testing.
• Strong understanding of Windchill modules like PDM Link, MPM Link, Project Link, and Change Management.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases for Windchill workflows, data management, and UI validations.
• Familiarity with PLM concepts, BOM management, CAD data management, and Change Management processes.
• Proficiency in defect-tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries for data validation (preferred).
• Good communication and analytical skills to interact with business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to automation testing for Windchill (Selenium, TestNG, UFT) is a plus.
• Experience with Windchill customization, API testing, or integration testing.
• Windchill certification is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
