Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Web & Mobile Application Tester with 2+ years of experience, to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities -

Test Planning:

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and determine testing strategies.

Functional Testing:

- Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on web and mobile applications.

- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.

Performance Testing:

- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure applications can handle expected user loads.

Automation Testing:

- Implement and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.

- Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

Usability Testing

- Evaluate applications for usability and user experience, providing feedback for improvements.

Documentation

- Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.

- Prepare test summary reports for stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing tools and techniques.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

-Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Web and Mobile Application Tester or similar role.

- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JIRA).

- Technical Skills

- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).

- Knowledge of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.

- Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
