Web Developer (Shopify)

Overview

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Experience of 2-5 years in Front-end development, with a strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid customization, APIs, and Webhooks.

2. Develop and maintain Shopify websites, ensuring they align with the UI provided by the design team.

3. Experienced in developing custom Shopify apps that seamlessly integrate with the store.

4. Enhance the site's performance by optimizing website uptime and minimizing unnecessary script usage from pre-installed Shopify apps.

5. Collaborate with multiple teams to address Core Web Vitals issues, optimize schema, and implement performance enhancements for improved website speed.

6. Quickly troubleshoot and resolve bugs caused by Shopify apps, fix theme-related issues, and enhance overall store functionality.

7. Minimize dependency on Shopify apps and utilize custom Liquid code for theme modifications to ensure optimal website speed and performance.

8. Ability to manage and optimize multiple Shopify websites across different regions.

9. Collaborate effectively with the team to complete tasks within the recommended timeline.

Requirement

• 2-5 years of front-end development experience, specifically with Shopify.
• Strong expertise in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and Webhooks.
• Experience in custom Shopify app development is a plus.
• Solid understanding of website speed optimization and Core Web Vitals.
• Ability to troubleshoot Shopify-related bugs and theme issues efficiently.
• Experience managing multiple Shopify stores is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Fixed shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Neelankarai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Shopify: 1 year (Preferred)
• Total: 2 years (Preferred)
