Web Developer & Designer

Overview

We are looking for a Web Developer & Designer with expertise in WordPress, JavaScript, and PHP to build and optimize modern, responsive websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for UI/UX design and experience in Figma, React.js (good to have), and front-end frameworks. You will work closely with our product, marketing, and development teams to create visually stunning and high-performing web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites with custom themes and plugins.
• Build dynamic web applications using JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress frameworks.
• Implement UI/UX best practices to enhance user experience.
• Work with Figma to design and translate wireframes into responsive front-end code.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
• Integrate APIs, third-party services, and payment gateways.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable web solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends, security standards, and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in web development and design
• Expertise in WordPress (custom themes & plugins), JavaScript, and PHP
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and responsive design
• Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools (Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch)
• Good understanding of web performance optimization & SEO
• Experience in RESTful APIs and database management (MySQL, MongoDB preferred) Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control

Good to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience in React.js for front-end development
• Knowledge of Headless CMS & WordPress REST API
• Experience with design systems and component libraries
