Web Developer Backend & API Development

Overview

We are currently hiring for the position of Web Developer (Backend & API Development) for our client in Malaysia.

Join our team and contribute to the development of a mobile application, as well as assist with in-house system development and client integrations. You will be responsible for creating and managing backend processes, optimizing database performance, and developing APIs to ensure seamless integration with the mobile app.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Backend Web Developer.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience in database management (MySQL, MSSQL) and query optimization.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with cloud services and server management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on mobile app backend development.
• Knowledge of DevOps and server deployment.
• Understanding of caching strategies and performance optimization techniques.
• Exposure to third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, authentication providers).
