Web Developer

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain websites and web applications using modern frameworks and tools.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and back-end technologies.
• Collaborate with designers to implement website designs and ensure responsive, mobile-first experiences.
• Debug and troubleshoot performance issues, ensuring fast load times and optimal performance.
• Ensure website security and implement data protection measures.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.
• Optimize websites for SEO and accessibility.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services into web applications.
• Maintain proper documentation of development processes and code.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python, or Ruby, and databases like MySQL or MongoDB.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design principles.
• Understanding of SEO principles and web accessibility guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal.
• Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of e-commerce platforms and payment gateways.
