Job Description: Junior Web Developer (0-6 Months Experience)

Position: Junior Web Developer

Location: Chennai

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 0-6 months (Fresh Graduates with completed internships are encouraged to apply)

Role & Responsibilities

As a Junior Web Developer you will be expected to:

Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and websites.

Work on front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Collaborate with senior developers to integrate backend services and APIs.

Support responsive and cross-browser compatibility for various devices.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize web applications for maximum performance.

Work on version control systems such as Git to manage code and collaborate with team members.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in development.

Stay updated with emerging web technologies and trends to ensure best practices are followed.

Assist in project deployment, testing, and ongoing maintenance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Basic Knowledge of Web Technologies:

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including ES6+)

Familiarity with responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation)

Exposure to front-end frameworks (e.g., React.js, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.

Project Experience:

Completed internships, boot camps, or personal projects related to web development.

Hands-on experience with basic web development tasks such as creating responsive websites, integrating APIs, and deploying web applications.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in web applications.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing clean and maintainable code.

Version Control:

Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

Team Player:

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Good communication skills to report progress and discuss technical challenges.

Willingness to Learn:

Eagerness to expand skills and knowledge in modern web development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, Express, etc.) is a plus.

Exposure to databases (SQL, NoSQL) and basic server-side scripting.

Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
