Web Developer

Overview

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain functional and visually appealing websites. As a Web Developer you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver responsive, scalable, and high-performance web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy websites, web applications, and other digital projects.
• Implement features and functionalities according to the development roadmap.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
• Maintain and update websites to improve performance, security, and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance, bugs, and other technical concerns.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Test and debug web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, codebase, and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular.
• Experience with server-side programming on Python.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Familiarity with databases ( MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Joomla.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Knowledge of SEO principles and optimization.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor s degree - Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2 to 3 years of experience in web development or a related role.
