Web Developer

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• PHP Development:
• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP (versions 7.x and above).
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Integrate front-end elements into web applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Database Management:
• Design and implement database structures, queries, and migrations using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Optimize queries and database performance to ensure fast page loads and seamless user experience.
• Frameworks & CMS:
• Develop applications using popular PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or similar.
• Build and customize websites using content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or Magento, when required.
• Utilize PHP libraries and packages to accelerate development and reduce repetitive tasks.
• API Development & Integration:
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs to enhance the functionality of web applications.
• Ensure API security and optimize data exchange between the server and client-side.
• Debugging & Testing:
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues within PHP applications.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure applications are error-free and high-performance.
• Troubleshoot issues with websites or applications to provide timely resolutions.
• Security & Best Practices:
• Ensure security best practices are implemented, including data validation, encryption, and protection against SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF attacks.
• Keep up with the latest PHP developments and security patches to ensure applications remain secure.
• Collaboration & Code Reviews:
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to build user-friendly and functional websites.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
• Work within agile development processes, attending daily standups and sprint meetings.
• Maintenance & Performance Optimization:
• Continuously monitor and maintain the performance of live applications, making improvements where necessary.
• Handle application updates, bug fixes, and optimizations to keep systems running smoothly.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently when required.
• Attention to detail and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,315.45 - ₹30,595.48 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
