Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Core PHP Developer to join our team. As a
Core PHP Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our
website's functionality, security, and SEO. You will work closely with the on-page SEO
specialist to implement technical SEO changes and ensure optimal website
performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Website Maintenance:
Regularly update and maintain the website's codebase to ensure optimal

performance and security.

Fix bugs and troubleshoot website issues promptly.
Implement security measures to protect the website from vulnerabilities and

attacks.

Perform regular backups to safeguard website data.
Technical SEO Implementation:
Collaborate with the on-page SEO specialist to understand and implement

technical SEO recommendations.

Optimize website loading speed and mobile responsiveness.
Improve website structure and URL structure for better crawlability.
Implement schema markup to enhance search engine visibility and rich snippets.
Fix technical SEO issues identified in website audits.
New Feature Development (as needed):
Develop new features and functionalities for the website as required.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Test and debug code to ensure it meets quality standards.
Web Performance Optimization:
Identify and resolve Core Web Vitals bottlenecks on the website.
Proactively identify and resolve front-end and back-end performance issues

through in-depth debugging and analysis.

Implement performance optimization techniques like code minification, image

optimization, and lazy loading.

Monitor website performance metrics and make data-driven improvements.

Job Expectations:

Technical SEO and Crawlability:
Identify and fix technical SEO issues that might be causing crawling, rendering, or

indexing issues.

Run periodic technical SEO audits to ensure the website's SEO health and optimize

the sitemap and robot files.

Analyze crawl reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
Team Leadership and Communication:
Manage, inspire, and work with a team of in-house developers working on the

performance and feature developments.

Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical

stakeholders.

Define, prioritize, and organize web performance and technical SEO tasks.
Interpret KPIs and other relevant metrics and make data-driven decisions.

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum experience of 2-2.5+ years in the same domain (past work case studies

appreciated)

Strong proficiency in PHP programming language
Good experience with PHP frameworks like WordPress, Laravel or CodeIgniter

(preferred)

Understanding of database management systems (MySQL or similar)
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with website maintenance and troubleshooting
Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
