Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled VoIP Support Engineer to join our growing telecom team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VoIP technologies, troubleshooting, and customer support within the telecom industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 & 2 support for VoIP-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SIP, RTP, codec, and call flow-related problems.
• Monitor VoIP traffic using tools like Wireshark, sngrep, or similar.
• Handle customer tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with upstream/downstream providers and internal NOC/Tech teams.
• Perform basic configuration and testing of VoIP equipment and softswitches.
• Maintain logs, prepare incident reports, and escalate issues when required.
• Assist in provisioning new accounts and maintaining VoIP configurations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecom, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in VoIP support, preferably in the telecom industry.
• Good understanding of SIP protocol, call flows, and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with VoIP softswitches like FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, or similar.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line tools.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle critical situations efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
