USI-EH25-T&I Cloud-Solution Architect-Senior Analyst- HYD

The Solution Architect designs the infrastructure needed for Public & private Cloud hosting applications based on user requirements. The Solution Architect provides a holistic skill that addresses infrastructure services such as servers, storage, databases, load balancing, firewalls, and DNS. The architect must be able to interpret and follow hosting and security standards to correctly place the infrastructure on the network with cost effective solutions & robust design. The successful candidate will be a Solution Architect in the internal Cloud Managed Services organization of Deloitte Technology-US. A Solution Architect is responsible for facilitating the designs for application hosting solutions, and spearheading infrastructure and networking implementation efforts with architecture, DevOps, and application product teams.

Responsibilities

• Promotes use of IT infrastructure technologies based on business requirements.

• Defines systems/platforms architecture and integration strategies and recommends design solutions Experience with 1 or more cloud platforms & cloud components (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Plan, Collaborate, Execute & Delegate tasks for effective project and business successfulness.
• Effective decision making: Able to identify independently & choose from multiple decision paths.
• Shape the strategy, architecture, methodology and standards for delivering infrastructure solutions.
• Acute business acumen and understanding of org issues and challenges related to IT Infrastructure
• Advises and consults on technologies costs, benefits, and implementation requirements.

• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
• Change management certification or designation desired.
• Clear communication

Required Technical Skills:

• Providing best solutions for a Problem statement for both Public / Private Cloud
• Cost saving architecture design, build, research & investigate capabilities.
• Gather requirements of public & private hosting solutions & covert in robust solutions
• Deliver diagrams of the environments needed based on the requirements.
• Understanding the workings of HTTP, load balancing, SSL, DNS, firewalls, servers, AD, .Net apps
• Absolutely must be a self-starter with a high degree of experimentation through exploration.
• Provide thought leadership on the architectural direction of the team.
• New Ideas & implementation of processes which helps entire Architect community.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements

Architecture Certification

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience:

• 5 + years in Cloud architectural or engineering experience
• Solution Architect in 1 cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP), Kubernetes, Architecture, Networking
• Extensive architecture knowledge on public & private platforms
• Serve as a SME from end to end without any guidance taking on complete responsibility.
