Unity Game Developer

Overview

We are a funded startup looking for a talented Unity Developer to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Unity 3D development, C# programming, and game mechanics. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining high-quality interactive applications and games for multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement game mechanics, UI, and features using Unity and C#.
• Optimize code and assets for performance across different devices.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth gameplay experience.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create engaging experiences.
• Integrate third-party SDKs, APIs, and plugins as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest Unity features, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in Unity game development.
• Proficiency in C# programming and object-oriented principles.
• Strong understanding of game physics, animations, UI/UX, and 3D environments.
• Experience in AR/VR, multiplayer networking (Photon, Mirror), or mobile game development is a plus.
• Knowledge of Unity Asset Store, shaders, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN).
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
• A gamer at heart.
• Experience in iOS/Android deployment and knowledge of platform-specific requirements.
• Passion for gaming and interactive applications.

Salary: Competitive and based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,083.45 - ₹30,000.00 per month
