UI/UX Developer

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• UX Design:
• Lead the research and design process for user-centered products, including personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate design concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into functional, intuitive designs.
• Map user journeys and identify pain points to enhance product workflows.
• UI Design:
• Design visually compelling interfaces that align with product vision and brand guidelines.
• Create responsive, accessible, and scalable design systems, including UI components, icons, typography, and other graphic elements.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and design consistency across all platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
• Leadership:
• Provide mentorship to junior designers, guiding them in the principles of UX/UI design and helping them develop their skills.
• Advocate for user-centered design thinking across the company, sharing insights, ideas, and best practices with the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables, managing timelines and feedback loops.
• Design Tools:
• Work with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Utilize design systems and maintain design libraries for consistency across products.
• Research and Trends:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
• Regularly evaluate and integrate best practices in UX/UI to continuously improve the user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across web and mobile platforms.
• Design Expertise:
• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Deep understanding of design systems, responsive design, accessibility, and mobile-first design principles.
• Research Skills:
• Strong understanding of user research methods, including usability testing, persona development, and A/B testing.
• Ability to analyze user behavior and feedback to improve UX.
• Collaboration:
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design rationale.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience with motion graphics or animation in UI design.
• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate better collaboration with developers.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or a related field.
