We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:
As a data engineer in the finance technology and insights team you will build and support the Treasury dashboard, analyze treasury and finance data, implement and maintain Cloud datasets to identify, analyze and interpret trends from the data. You will be part of the team supporting treasury function in the rollout of Enterprise initiatives, treasury Data Solutions, transformative initiatives, implementations and the ongoing support of the data and reporting needs of our treasury stakeholders.

Job Description:
Ideal candidate will have

• Experience in Google Cloud based Data Architecture, building Source to target mapping sheets in discussion with source SME's to build & validate the E2E data flow and produce Technical Requirement Documents
• Ability to design & implement performant, scalable, resilient, reliable, and understandable data pipelines.
• Experience in automation for Data Extracts, Processing, Identify Data Anomalies and implement Data Quality measure for proactive remediation/ alerts.
• Maintain a consistent record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Deep expertise in data engineering approaches and awareness of leading technology trends [AI/ML/Data Science/API/ Near Real Time data loads/ Self Service Reporting]
• Hands on experience in one or more reporting tools/ exposure and knowledge of Treasury functions is a big plus.
  
  
  

A typical day in the role will require:

• Liaising with multiple stakeholders to understand the business requirements and work with team members to support the product requirement mapping to the rest of the engineering track.
• Working with team members to support high-quality delivery and keep a balance with customer focus to meet business needs.
• Working in Cloud environments/Big Data and have expertise in GCS, Big Query, Hadoop (Hive), Dell Boomi/ WebMethods [Enterprise Interface tools], Shell Scripting/ Python/ PySpark, Schedulers and other common cloud-native data storage and processing frameworks.
• Working with implementation teams from concept to operations, providing deep technical subject matter expertise for successfully deploying large-scale data solutions in the enterprise, using modern data/analytics technologies on the cloud.
• Collaborating with teams for problem-solving and resolving issues.
  
  
  

The ideal candidate will require:

• 8+ years of experience in data mapping techniques.
• 3+ years of working with finance and with expertise in translating functional requirements to technical specifications.
• 2+ years of strong experience Working with GCP, Big Data and its native cloud services will be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of reporting technologies like Power BI, Watch, and Looker is an added advantage.
• Exposure to data from Finance ERP [SAP, HANA or treasury applications such as Bloomberg, Clearwater, Quantum, FX, and other Treasury Systems] is an added advantage.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent from a leading university, preferably with a Master’s degree.
• Cloud certifications (good to have)
• A great communicator, strong project management skills, and attention to detail
• Experience working with teams in a global complex matrix organization involving multiple reporting lines.
  
  
  

Skills: ETL, SQL, Big Data (Hadoop, Hive, NoSQL), Cloud (GCP), Python/ Shell Scripting, PySpark, SAP and Reporting exposure.
