TITLE / POSITION: Trainee / Junior Software Tester

LEVEL: Level 1

ROLE: Trainee / Executive

GRADE: Trainee / Executive

REPORTING TO: Sr Tester / Sr BA

PROJECTS: Low / Medium Complexity Project

EDUCATION:

Minimum

• BSc IT or Batchelor of Engineer or equivalent in any discipline
• Certificate Course in Software Testing

Preferred

• -

WORK EXPERIENCE:

0-1 year of experience in Software Testing

COMPETENCIES:

» Industry Domain

• Preferably BFSI

» Tech Domain:

• Software Testing, Automated Testing

» Delivery Skills

• Test Bed Preparation
• Test Execution
• Documentation of Test Results

KPIs:

• Timeliness of delivery of outputs
• Adherence to Delivery Methodology
• Documentation
• No. of system issues post go-live

WORK NATURE: Work under the supervision / guidance of Tester / Sr Tester / BA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand project objectives & scope
• Understand Business Requirement Document & System Requirement Specification Document
• Prepare Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases
• Carry out Unit Testing and System Integration Testing
• Assist in / carry-out UAT
• Document Test Results
• Work with development team to resolve issues

LOCATION:

Techaways Office or Client Office in Mumbai

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift

• Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
