Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst – Trade Surveillance to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trade surveillance, compliance, and financial regulations. This role requires expertise in regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, MAR, SEC, FINRA, FCA, ESMA) and experience with trade surveillance tools like NICE Actimize, Nasdaq SMARTS, or Scila.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and technology teams to define trade surveillance requirements.
• Develop and enhance surveillance models and workflows to detect market abuse and trading anomalies.
• Ensure compliance with global trading regulations (SEC, FINRA, MiFID II, MAR, FCA, ESMA).
• Conduct gap analysis on existing surveillance processes and recommend improvements.
• Work with trade surveillance platforms (e.g., NICE Actimize, Nasdaq SMARTS, Scila) for system implementation, tuning, and optimization.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trading patterns and potential misconduct.
• Support system testing, validation, and upgrades to ensure effective surveillance measures.
• Document Surveillance Use Cases and best practices for regulatory compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on trade surveillance processes.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Trade Surveillance or Compliance within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of trading regulations (SEC, FINRA, MiFID II, MAR, FCA, ESMA).
• Hands-on experience with trade surveillance platforms (NICE Actimize, Nasdaq SMARTS, Scila, or similar).
• Expertise in business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in SQL, data analytics, and market data interpretation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with global banks, financial institutions, or regulatory compliance teams is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Compliance, Risk Management, or Financial Regulations is a plus.
• Experience in algorithmic trading surveillance and automated monitoring tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹760,135.39 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
