Test Lead – Digital Commerce (Fashion & Retail)

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Test Lead with 6+ years of experience in testing and test automation, specifically in the digital commerce domain with a focus on fashion and retail. The candidate will work across front-end B2C systems and back-end supply chain management systems to ensure high-quality delivery. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Management & Execution
• Develop and manage test plans, designs, and execution strategies.
• Ensure robust test management processes are in place, covering functional and non-functional testing.
• Drive automation initiatives and create automation roadmaps.
• Domain Expertise
• Understand and test end-to-end order-to-cash processes, including discounts, payment gateways, and e-commerce tracking with Google Tag Manager.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure thorough coverage of online marketplaces and retail ecosystems.
• Leadership
• Lead and motivate a team of 20+ testers to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Act as the single point of contact for brand owners, development teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct weekly and monthly reviews with stakeholders to assess progress and address concerns.
• Quality Advocacy
• Focus on preventing defect leakage into production through proactive quality measures.
• Engage with AlgoQA platform teams to align automation tools with the project requirements.
• Non-Functional Testing
• Understand and execute non-functional testing strategies, including performance, scalability, and reliability assessments.
• Flexibility & Accountability
• Be willing to stretch and support the team during critical release phases to ensure timelines and quality are met.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Proven experience in test planning, test design, execution, and automation.
• Familiarity with B2C systems and supply chain back-end processes in fashion and retail.
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce systems, including order management, discounts, and payment integrations.
• Experience with Google Tag Manager for tracking and analytics.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively.
