Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer with 5-6 years of experience in hardware and software testing, including hands-on expertise with TestRail and a proven track record of working on Private Cloud environments. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of private cloud architecture, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans for cloud-based native, integrated, with a focus on private cloud infrastructure and platform.
• Use TestRail for test case management, tracking, and reporting test results to ensure comprehensive coverage and transparency.
• Perform manual and automated testing for various features, ensuring functionality, performance, and security of private cloud systems.
• Collaborate closely with the development, DevOps, Delivery and product teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment with test objectives.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution, ensuring timely fixes and quality improvements.
• Perform regression testing, integration testing, and system testing to validate new and existing features.
• Continuously improve test strategies, tools, and processes to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide test metrics, reports, and documentation to stakeholders for progress tracking and decision-making.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 5-6 years of experience in software testing with a strong background in Private Cloud infrastructure testing.
• Proficient in TestRail for test case management, execution, and reporting.
• Solid understanding of test methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Jenkins).
• Strong experience with API testing and knowledge of cloud security testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration testing in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and report test results effectively.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Private Cloud platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM, OpenStack, Azure Private Cloud, K8S, Morpheus).
• Working knowledge of networking and security protocols in cloud environments.
• Exposure to performance testing tools and frameworks.
