Required Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience of using JMeter.
2. Knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes, or other cloud technologies.
3. Strong understanding of testing methodologies and quality control techniques.
4. Proficient in analyzing performance test results and establishing key performance metrics.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
6. Knowledge on analysing OOM logs/ Heap dumps.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Creating, executing, and maintaining performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
Identifying any potential quality issues per defined process and escalating potential quality issues immediately to management.
Ensuring that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
Collaborating with team members to determine system requirements and ensure every project aligns with set specifications.
Monitoring system performance post-implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating errors and ensure the efficiency of operation.
Documenting and communicating test results, and managing issues to closure.
Collaborating closely with software developers to recommend system improvements and optimization
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in performance testing or a related field.
- Familiarity with performance guidelines, web application and mobile application.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Basic understanding of performance testing methodologies.
- Linux shell scripting will be added advantage
- Knowledge of APM tools like Datadog, Dynatrace etc.
- Basics of SQL
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards performance.
