Test Engineer

Overview

Job Position: Test Engineer (4-6 Years exp)

Job Location: Chennai

Qualifications :

· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.

· Experience:

· 4+ years of experience in power electronics testing, preferably in automotive, renewable energy, or industrial applications.

· Willing to travel between Cochin and Chennai

· Experience with high-power systems (e.g., >10 kW) and high-voltage testing.

· Technical Skills:

· Strong understanding of power electronics principles and components (e.g., MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, GaN devices).

· Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal cameras, and other diagnostic tools.

· Knowledge of EMI/EMC testing, thermal management, and reliability testing.

· Experience with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, MIL-STD).

· Proficiency in using test automation tools and software for data analysis (LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, etc.).

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
