Test Engineer

Overview

Job Position: Test Engineer (4-6 Years Exp)
Location: Chennai

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 4+ years of experience in power electronics testing, preferably in automotive, renewable energy, or industrial applications.
• Willing to travel between Cochin and Chennai.
• Experience with high-power systems (e.g., >10 kW) and high-voltage testing.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of power electronics principles and components (e.g., MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, GaN devices).
• Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal cameras, and other diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC testing, thermal management, and reliability testing.
• Experience with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, MIL-STD).
• Proficiency in test automation tools and software for data analysis (LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, etc.).

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
