Job Title: Test Engineer – Power Electronics / Electrical Testing

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer with expertise in power electronics and electrical testing. The role involves testing activities for high-power and high-voltage systems in automotive, renewable energy, or industrial applications. The ideal candidate should be willing to travel between Cochin and Chennai.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing and validation of power electronics systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and thermal cameras for diagnostics.
• Perform high-power and high-voltage testing (>10 kW) while ensuring safety and reliability.
• Execute EMI/EMC testing, thermal management assessments, and reliability testing.
• Develop and implement automated testing procedures using LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing methodologies and product performance.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of power electronics principles and components (MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, GaN devices).
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard test equipment.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (IEC, UL, MIL-STD).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
