Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning & Design: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.
• Manual & Automation Testing: Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Bug Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools. Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
• Test Execution & Validation: Execute test cases, validate test results, and ensure the product meets the required standards and specifications.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on product functionality and usability.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum [X years] of experience as a Test Engineer or in Quality Assurance. Experience with both manual and automated testing is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and bug-tracking systems.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or C# for automation scripting.

• Soft Skills:

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB Certification or other relevant QA certifications.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Contract length: 12 days

Pay: ₹350.00 - ₹450.00 per hour
