Software Test Engineer - Automation
Are you the expert in software testing? Are you keen to work on creative solutions to build a Banking ecosystem? Do you want to explore and use latest technologies? Then you might be the one we are looking for – as an Automation software tester, you are responsible for testing and maintaining scalable and quality solutions.
Your responsibilities
The role demands you to be a Test Automation expert with knowledge of Banking domain.
The role has following key responsibilities:
Requirements (Must have) –
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or other engineering or technical disciplines.
- Total experience of 4-8 years in IT, with 3-6 years of relevant hands-on experience in designing, developing and configuring automation frameworks (Robot Framework, Selenium, Cucumber etc.).
- Expertise in test automation using various programming/scripting languages (Java/Python/.Net etc.). Proficiency in Groovy scripting language
- Experience in building automation test suits to test overall business flow - business logic, APIs integration and front-end functionalities.
- Knowledge of SQL, SOAPUI, CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Proficient in using test and defect management tools such as Quality Center, Jira, Bugzilla, ServiceNow, etc.
- Familiar with functional testing in the financial domain, preferably with experience in Credit lending, loans, wealth management, capital markets, insurance, cash management, etc.
- Excellent skills – communication, collaboration, presentation, perseverance, team player
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, Regression, UAT, Incident support).
- Report and track defects. Facilitate defect triage meetings.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality.
- Conduct defect analysis and drive defect prevention plan and actions. Suggest and implement improvements
Requirements (Good to have)
- Experience with Selenium is advantageous.
- Testing certification (ISTQB/CSTE/CSQA) is preferred.
- Banking domain certification is a plus.
Location
- Based in India (Pune/Bengaluru), but willingness to travel
