Position: Telecom System Administrator

Experience: 7 -10 Years

Location: Bengaluru SEZ LT Tech Park

Any Project specific Prerequisite skills: Avaya Collaboration Suite, Avaya Contact-Center

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecom System Administrator to join our IT team in Bangalore The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in managing and maintaining telecom systems and equipment This role requires a deep understanding of telecom technologies system administration and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain telecom systems and equipment including Avaya CiscoWebEx Legacy and Poly devices
Monitor system performance ensure availability and reliability
Perform regular system updates patches and security configurations
Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions
Collaborate with IT and development teams to support application deployment and maintenance
Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Shell Python or PowerShell
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve telecomrelated issues
Document system configurations processes and procedures
Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
7 10 years of experience in telecom system administration
Expertise in managing Avaya equipment and devices
Experience with CiscoWebEx equipment and devices
Familiarity with legacy telecom equipment and devices
Proficiency in managing Poly equipment and devices
Strong knowledge of networking concepts protocols and services DNS DHCP TCPIP
Experience with configuration management tools Ansible Puppet Chef
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Strong scripting skills Shell Python PowerShell
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications Avaya Certified Specialist Cisco Certified Network Associate etc
Experience with cloud migration projects
Knowledge of database administration

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to ₹160,000.00 per month
