Technical Project Manager: Security

Overview

1. Project Management:

• Lead VAPT and SOC-related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and milestone tracking.
• Oversee the deployment of VAPT tools, SOC solutions, and frameworks in client environments.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR).

2. Pre-Sales Support:

• Act as a technical advisor during the sales cycle for VAPT and SOC solutions.
• Conduct technical assessments and workshops to understand client needs and pain points.
• Design and present solution architectures, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and demonstrations tailored to client requirements.
• Develop comprehensive proposals, including scope of work, technical solutions, and pricing.

3. Technical Leadership in VAPT and SOC:

• Provide expertise in VAPT processes, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and threat modeling.
• Guide the deployment and optimization of SOC tools such as SIEM, SOAR, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to analyze vulnerabilities, remediate issues, and strengthen security postures.
• Stay current with trends in threat landscapes, attack vectors, and advanced persistent threats (APTs).

4. Stakeholder and Team Collaboration:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution and pre-sales phases.
• Coordinate with internal teams (SOC analysts, ethical hackers, and engineers) to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Build strong client relationships, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
• Communicate project progress, technical challenges, and proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including VAPT reports, SOC configuration details, and compliance records.
• Generate post-project analysis and recommendations for future security improvements.
• Deliver executive-level reports and presentations on security findings and project outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, or CISA.

Experience:

• 5+ years in project management with a focus on VAPT and SOC technologies.
• 3+ years in pre-sales, technical consulting, or client-facing roles in cyber security.
• Proven experience in managing SOC implementations, VAPT engagements, and cyber security initiatives.

Technical Skills:

• VAPT Tools: Expertise in tools like Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Qualys, Acunetix, and Kali Linux.
• SOC Tools: Hands-on experience with SIEM solutions (Azure Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, or Elastic Stack), SOAR platforms (Phantom, Demisto), and EDR solutions (SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black).
• Familiarity with cloud security solutions (AWS GuardDuty, Azure Security Center) and hybrid SOC setups.
• Knowledge of attack simulation frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and Purple Teaming techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹110,000.00 per month
