Technical Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the on-site operations of our NETC FASTag Issuer project at State Bank of India in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and client-facing capabilities. The Project Manager will ensure the seamless functioning of the project, oversee operations, and act as the primary liaison between Comvision and the bank.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing complex projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving improvements while ensuring compliance with SLA and project timelines over the life cycle of the project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end operations of the NETC FASTag Issuer project deployed at State Bank of India.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the bank, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication for new requirements, feedback, and escalations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage resources for operations, support, and development, ensuring optimal delivery and smooth functioning.
• Draft, estimate, and negotiate Change Requests (CRs) with the client, ensuring budgets and timelines are clearly defined and approved.
• Lead the identification of system improvements, enhancements, and technical solutions in consultation with the bank.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, change requests, and operational SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and security policies defined in the RFP.
• Act as the liaison between Comvision's senior management and SBI to ensure business objectives and client expectations align.
• Identify risks, monitor project health, and resolve operational issues to prevent delays or disruptions.
• Proactively manage team performance, facilitate regular reviews, and ensure alignment with project goals.

Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in banking or fintech domains.
• Prior experience managing large-scale, long-term projects with on-site client coordination.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant project management certification is preferred.

Skills

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and client relationships.
• Experience with project budgeting, estimation, and change request management.
• Working knowledge of payment solutions or similar banking systems.
• Ability to handle escalations and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or similar.
