The Job Functions:

The Technical Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of a security-focused project for a large enterprise client, ensuring that all deliverables are met according to the defined scope, schedule, and budget. You will work directly with client stakeholders and internal teams to manage resources, risks, and timelines, while ensuring seamless execution of a remediation strategy to improve security posture and optimize application control license utilization. You will be responsible for client communication, risk management, and ensuring a successful knowledge transfer to the client's technical teams.

• Strong project management experience in security-related projects, especially those involving legacy systems and application control.
• A natural leader who can drive alignment between technical teams and client stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-phase projects with attention to detail and focus on results.
• Excellent at managing scope, timelines, and budgets while keeping the project on track.
• Experience with licensing optimization and system security best practices is a big plus.
• Ability to adapt to changing project needs and address obstacles proactively, ensuring project success.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience with Carbon Black App Control is a plus but not required

Experience Requested for This Role:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex IT projects, with a focus on cybersecurity or system remediation.
• Strong experience in project management across all stages of project lifecycles, including planning, execution, and post-deployment.
• Experience in legacy system remediation, application control security, or compliance-related projects is a plus.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management experience.

Education Requested:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Certifications Requested:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management certification
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent IT service management certification
• CompTIA Project+ (optional but desirable)
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification is a plus but not required.
