Technical Project Manager

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager and Scrum Master with a deep understanding of SAFe and Agile methodologies. The candidate will lead agile teams, manage backlogs, oversee release planning, CI/CD processes, production defect triage, and align project outcomes with the company's vision and mission. Additionally, the role includes resource management and conducting appraisals for developers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Backlog Management:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
• Work with Product Owners to prioritize and maintain the product backlog.

2. Release Planning and CI/CD:

• Develop and maintain release plans in alignment with SAFe.
• Ensure that CI/CD practices support continuous delivery.

3. Production Defect Triage and RCA:

• Lead the triage and resolution of production defects.
• Publish Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports and communicate findings.

4. Release and Change Management:

• Manage end-to-end release processes, ensuring smooth deployments.
• Handle changes to project scope, schedule, and budget using a structured process.

5. Scrum Master Responsibilities:

• Lead the scrum team, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions.

6. Resource Management and Appraisals:

• Manage developer resources, including workload and assignments.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback to team members.
• Identify and address skill gaps, ensuring continuous development of team members.

7. Stakeholder and Team Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.

8. Quality Assurance and Risk Management:

• Implement quality control processes and conduct regular reviews.
• Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies.

9. Aligning with Company Vision:

• Understand and align project outcomes with the company's vision and mission.
• Communicate the company's goals to customers, employees, and associated business units.

10. Requirements Traceability and BOM:

• Maintains Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) for all the projects.
• Manage a comprehensive bill of materials (BOM) for project deliverables.

Skills Required:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of SAFe and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Ability to develop and maintain RTMs and BOMs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 10-12 years of experience in technical project management with Agile and SAFe methodologies.
• Certification in SAFe, Agile, PMP, or a related field is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
