Technical project Manager - AI/ML

Overview

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:

• Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for AI/ML, NLP, and agentic workflow initiative from planning through delivery and monitoring.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, risks, and opportunities, and develop project plans accordingly.
• Develop detailed project timelines, milestones, and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Scrum Mastery:

• Act as Scrum Master, leading the Agile process for the AI/ML and NLP teams.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and
• retrospectives.
• Ensure continuous improvement of the Agile process by addressing team concerns and
• optimizing workflow
• Manage sprint backlogs, ensure tasks are well-defined and achievable, and remo
• blockers to ensure smooth sprint execution.

Team Coordination and Leadership:

• Lead cross-functional teams of data scientists, AI/ML engineers, and NLP specialists to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure tasks are completed on time and meet dened quality standards.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed of progress, challenges, and changes.

AI/ML and NLP Expertise:

• Work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions involving AI/ML models, NLP techniques, and agentic workflows.
• Ensure best practices in model training, deployment, and evaluation processes for NLP and AI-driven systems.
• Support the integration of code generation models (e.g., GPT-3, Codex) and agentic workows into the project development lifecycle.

Risk and Issue Management:

• Identify and manage project risks, including technical challenges, resource constraints, and external dependencies.
• Proactively address issues that arise during project execution, ensuring they are mitigated or resolved in a timely manner.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on project health, risks, and progress.

Stakeholder Management:

• Engage with product managers, technical leads, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project goals align with organizational objectives.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage customer expectations, ensure smooth communication, and advocate for the needs of both the technical team and business stakeholders.

Process Optimization:

• Continuously assess project workflows and team dynamics to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• Implement tools and strategies to streamline project execution, enhance collaboration, and improve overall team performance.
• Ensure proper documentation of all project-related processes, from planning through post-delivery, to maintain transparency and accountability.

Qualifications & Skills Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience:
• Min. 4 years of experience in Project Management with AI/ML domain Project Handling.
• Proven experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) models, including transformers, GPT-based models, BERT, and T5.
• Extensive experience working with code generation models (e.g., GPT-3, Codex, OpenAI's models, etc.) for automating or generating code based on natural language.
• Hands-on experience with data labeling, annotation processes, and working with annotated data for training AI/ML models.
• Strong track record of leading AI/ML teams to deliver complex, production-ready solutions.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or R.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, Scikit-learn, and others.
• Deep understanding of NLP techniques, including text classification, named entity recognition (NER), machine translation, and question answering.
• Familiarity with code generation tools (e.g., OpenAI Codex, GPT-3) for automating software development tasks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, with specific expertise in deploying machine learning models.
• Knowledge of MLOps (Model Operations) and deploying AI/ML models to production environments using CI/CD pipelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
