Responsibilities in FinTech Team

• Architect, Develop & Maintain: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our Payments system, supporting multiple geographies and diverse product lines such as on-demand services, subscriptions, bundles, D2C, and B2B, each with unique complexities.
• Optimize Payment Success Rates: Ensure industry-leading success rates across various payment methods, including on-demand transactions, mandate setups, and auto-payments via Apple Pay, Cards, UPI, Wallets, and Net banking.
• Seamless Payment Gateway Integrations: Integrate and manage payment gateways across regions, balancing high success rates with cost efficiency.
• Wallets & Digital Payments: Define and lead the roadmap for Customer and Partner Wallets, driving adoption and seamless integration.
• Offers & Conversion Optimization: Design and develop an Offers Engine to power bank offers and coupons, maximizing conversion rates.
• Incentives, Recoveries & Commission Management: Lead the vision and development of systems for incentives, recoveries, and commissions, ensuring tax compliance and automated accounting.
• Fraud Prevention & Error Mitigation: Build intelligent fraud detection and error prevention systems to minimize revenue loss in payments, incentives, recoveries, and credit transactions.
• Seamless Checkout Experience: Enhance user experience by optimizing the checkout flow across app and web, from payment selection to successful transaction completion.
• Innovation & Best Practices: Stay ahead of technology trends, introducing innovations and best practices to continuously improve the Payments ecosystem.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Product, and other key teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of experience in the industry, preferably Ecommerce.
• Skilled in developing tools, microservices and workflows.
• Hands-on coding in any programming language - Node, Python, Go, Java etc.
• Knowledge of database servers like mysql, mongo, postgres etc.
• Knowledge of message brokers like kafka, rabbitmq etc.
• Ability to think and design complex systems at High level and Low Level.
• Understanding of Micro-service architecture and its coding practices.
• Ability to bring new practices, architectural choices and new initiatives onto the table to
• make the overall tech stack more robust.
