Technical lead

Overview

ServiceNow Technical Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions, acting as the technical expert on the platform, leading development teams, ensuring quality delivery, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical architectures within the ServiceNow ecosystem; this role typically involves deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITBM, HR Service Delivery, and custom application development, while providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers. Key Responsibilities: Technical Architecture Design: Define and architect ServiceNow solutions aligned with business requirements, considering best practices and scalability. Solution Development: Lead the development of custom applications, workflows, integrations, and reports on the ServiceNow platform. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers, assigning tasks, reviewing code, and ensuring quality standards are met. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and document detailed specifications. Implementation and Deployment: Oversee the implementation of ServiceNow solutions, including testing, configuration, and deployment to production environments. Technical Support: Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot issues, resolve production incidents, and answer technical questions from users and other teams. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize ServiceNow processes, promote best practices, and enhance user experience. Documentation: Create technical documentation including design documents, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
