Job Title: Tech Lead – Java + AWS Engineer

Location: Bangalore – Whitefield (3 Days a Week)

Experience: 9 – 12 Years

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to design, develop, and lead high-performance Java applications with cloud integration using AWS. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of application data in the cloud environment, while also mentoring a team of developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of Java-based applications in a cloud environment using AWS.
• Build and manage microservices using Spring Boot and implement solutions in a cloud-based architecture.
• Leverage data streaming and messaging technologies like Kafka, WSS, Spring Messaging to ensure seamless communication across microservices.
• Ensure full application dataflow in AWS, including ingress, routing, authentication, authorization, security, auditing, and patching.
• Guide the team on best practices and ensure the successful implementation of modern SDLC tools like Gradle, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews to ensure the development of clean and maintainable code.

• Java (Expert, 8/10)
• Spring Boot, Microservices in a cloud environment (Expert, 8/10)
• Data Streaming and Messaging Technologies (Kafka, WSS, Spring Messaging) (Expert, 7/10)
• AWS Cloud Services for full application dataflow (ingress, routing, authentication, authorization, security, auditing, and patching) (Expert, 7/10)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Data Streaming & Messaging Technologies (MQTT, RabbitMQ, gRPC, Kinesis, Cloudera) (Intermediate, 5/10)
• Database Tools (JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, Spring Data) (Intermediate, 5/10)
• Modern SDLC Tooling:
• Gradle or Maven (Intermediate, 5/10)
• Git or SVN (Intermediate, 5/10)
• NPM (Intermediate, 5/10)
