TECHNICAL LEAD - PRODUCTION & MANUFACTURING

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Product Development

1. Lead the end-to-end production process for ballistic helmets, body armor, and defense protective gear.
2. Ensure adherence to DRDO specifications, BIS standards, and defense quality control requirements.
3. Work closely with R&D teams to implement product improvements, material selection, and manufacturing innovations.

4. Troubleshoot technical issues in production, ensuring high-quality output and minimal rework.

Production & Manufacturing Operations

1. Plan and oversee daily production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
2. Optimize the manufacturing process for improved efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
3. Manage machinery, tooling, molds, and die manufacturing for helmet and armor production.
4. Ensure raw material procurement, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.

Quality Control & Compliance

1. Implement strict quality control measures as per defense and paramilitary requirements.
2. Ensure compliance with MIL-STD, NIJ standards, and other defense-grade certifications.

3. Oversee internal testing of ballistic helmets and body armor before dispatch.
4. Work with external agencies for Pre-Dispatch Inspections (PDI) and third-party quality audits.

Process Improvement & Automation

1. Introduce automation and lean manufacturing techniques to enhance production efficiency.
2. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production, testing, and quality control.
3. Monitor and improve worker training programs for handling advanced production processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
