Technical Business Analyst (Software Development)

Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role will involve gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements, creating technical and functional specifications, and supporting design efforts where needed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical acumen and the ability to assist in creating design mockups temporarily.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering and Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
• Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS/FSD), and System Requirement Documents (SRD).
• Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals.

Documentation

• Develop comprehensive documentation, including use case diagrams, mockups, and other technical artifacts.
• Maintain version control and updates for all technical documents.

Design Support

• Temporarily support design activities by creating wireframes, mockups, and other design artifacts.
• Ensure documentation aligns with user experience and interface design principles.

Process Mapping and Improvement

• Analyze and map business processes to technical requirements.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance system functionality and usability.

Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a liaison between business teams and technical developers.
• Conduct requirement validation sessions to ensure clarity and feasibility.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in creating BRD, FRS/FSD, SRD, use case diagrams, and mockups.
• Proficiency with tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Figma, or similar for documentation and design.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to temporarily perform design tasks, including wireframe creation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
