Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Full Stack PHP Developer to take on a Team Lead role, overseeing the development of robust and scalable web applications. This role requires 5+ years of hands-on PHP development experience, with 1–2 years in a leadership position, working on both backend (PHP, Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter) and frontend (Vue.js, React, jQuery) technologies.
As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for technical guidance, code quality, system architecture, and the successful execution of projects. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Mentor: Guide and manage a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best coding practices.
- Architect & Develop: Design, develop, and optimize complex web applications with PHP and modern frameworks.
- Full Stack Development: Work across the backend (PHP, MySQL, NoSQL) and frontend (React, Vue.js, jQuery).
- Database Optimization: Ensure efficient MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL data handling and performance tuning.
- API Development: Build and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless system communication.
- Cloud & DevOps: Implement CI/CD pipelines, manage Docker & Kubernetes, and work with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Security & Best Practices: Enforce security best practices, unit testing, and automation for quality assurance.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
- Agile Collaboration: Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in PHP development, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
- Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, Vue.js, React, jQuery).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience in API development and integrations.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies.
- Exposure to unit testing and automation tools.
