Talend/SQL Developer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Talend Developer to join our team. As a Talend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying data integration solutions using Talend ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) toolset. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data integration solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data integration, ETL processes, and a deep understanding of the Talend platform.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable ETL processes using Talend.

2. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

3. Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and system architecture.

4. Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and implement corrective measures.

5. Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.

6. Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and system performance.

7. Work with the IT infrastructure team to ensure optimal deployment and configuration of Talend environments.

8. Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, if applicable.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Proven experience working as a Talend Developer or similar role.

3. Strong proficiency in designing, developing, and deploying ETL solutions using Talend.

4. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).

5. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

6. Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.

7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
