RESPONSIBILITIES:

Network Administration:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware like routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
• Monitoring network performance and identifying bottlenecks.
• Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and resolving user problems.
• Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Implementing and maintaining network security policies.
• Performing regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.

Network Engineering:

• Designing and architecting network solutions based on business requirements.
• Implementing new network technologies and upgrades.
• Planning and executing network expansions.
• Optimizing network performance and scalability.
• Researching emerging network technologies and trends.
• Documenting network infrastructure and configurations.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, MPLS)
• Proficiency in routing and switching technologies
• Understanding of network security concepts (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux)
• Experience with network management system.
