System & Network Administrator

Overview

Responsible for overseeing and maintaining an organization's computer network infrastructure, including design, installation, configuration, security, performance optimization, and troubleshooting, with a focus on complex network issues, strategic planning, and mentoring junior team members

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs), network security concepts, and network management tools.
• Hands-on Experience: Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot network devices from major vendors.
• Problem-solving Skills: Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Security Awareness: Knowledge of current cybersecurity threats and best practices for network security.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and mentoring junior team members.
