Overview
The System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems, servers, and networks. This role ensures the security, performance, and availability of enterprise IT infrastructure while providing technical support to end-users. The System Administrator also plays a key role in implementing security policies, managing cloud services, and ensuring data backup and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Server & System Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and regular maintenance.
2. Network Administration:
- Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ensure network security and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Manage VPNs, VLANs, and remote access solutions.
3. Security & Compliance:
- Implement security best practices and policies.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.).
4. Cloud & Virtualization Management:
- Manage cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Google Workspace).
- Configure and maintain virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
5. Backup & Disaster Recovery:
- Implement and manage data backup and recovery solutions.
- Conduct regular testing of disaster recovery plans.
6. IT Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support to employees for system-related issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
- Document and resolve IT incidents through the ticketing system.
7. Software & Patch Management:
- Deploy and manage enterprise applications.
- Apply updates, patches, and security fixes.
8. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations and procedures.
- Generate reports on system performance and incidents.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Technical Skills:
*Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
* Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
* Proficiency in networking (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewalls, routing).
* Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Office 365).
* Understanding of IT security practices and compliance standards.
* Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
* Good documentation and reporting skills.
Education & Certifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
* Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, RHCE, AWS/Azure certifications are a plus.

Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
