About this opportunity:
We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our Ericsson team as a Technical Authority Expert. This critical role belongs to our Managed Services department, directly contributing to our ongoing Ericsson Operations Engine projects. You will be at the forefront of tech-driven change, offering your specialist knowledge to guide the entire lifecycle of our projects. Whether we are in the Create, Sustain, or Evolve stages, your expertise will pave the way forward in your domain. Team is looking for System Administrator to Deploy, Investigate, diagnose, and troubleshoot Windows Servers, Linux & VMware. The candidate has to follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams and talk to clients (internal) through a series of actions, either via phone, email, or chat, until the request is closed. Follow up after the troubleshooting.
What you will do:
6+ years working on Systems Admin level with Windows Servers & Virtualization Knowledge Technology Skills
Knowledge of Windows Servers
Knowledge of VMWare, Citrix virtualization
Knowledge on OpenShift Virtualization will be added advantage.
Operations Management
Knowledge of Hardware (HP, Dell, etc)
Familiar with Linux/Unix & Windows file and user permissions, directory structures, and proper disk configurations
Server Capacity Monitoring and Upgrade Infrastructure as required by client policies.
Working knowledge of Web server, Application Servers, RDBMS, Operating Systems and Networking concepts
Experience automating installation, configuration, deployment, monitoring, validation processes
Proficient in scripting applications such as Shell, Perl, Python and Groovy
Advantage if you have RedHat, Windows & Cloud certification

Willing to learn new things to work independently to acquire new skills without explicit direction to do so
