Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated System Administrator with 2+ years of experience to join our team in Mohali. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. The role requires expertise in troubleshooting, IT infrastructure management, and system security. This is a night shift position, ensuring smooth IT operations and support during non-business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access.
• Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
• Perform regular system upgrades and patch management.
• Provide technical support and assistance to users as needed.
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to enhance overall system performance.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, network administration, and cloud environments.
• Experience with virtualization, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with IT security practices, firewalls, and access controls.
• Ability to work independently in a night shift setting and resolve issues proactively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, RHCE, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
