System Administrator

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn fresher for the position of System Administrator. This is an entry-level role where you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience with server management, troubleshooting, networking, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the company’s systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
• Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.
• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting internal networks, including local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
• Respond to user queries, resolve system-related issues, and offer technical support to end-users.
• Help with the configuration of servers, desktops, laptops, and other devices.
• Assist in system updates, patches, and security configurations.
• Document system configurations, processes, and issues.
• Work alongside senior system administrators to implement IT projects.
• Ensure systems are secure by conducting regular security audits and implementing necessary security measures.
• Assist with network setup, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Freshers welcome).
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with hardware components and system setup.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹120,000.00 per year
