System Admin/IT Support/Network and System Admin Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and System Admin Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the smooth operation of our complex logistics infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network and server systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Administration:
  • Design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures.
  • Configure and maintain network devices to optimize network performance and security.
  • Manage network access controls and user permissions.
• System Administration:
  • Manage and maintain our server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade server operating systems and applications.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance optimizations.
  • Implement and maintain system security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  • Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Infrastructure Support:
  • Provide technical support for end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network and system solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model)
• Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux)
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, etc.)
